Safari Themed Baby Shower Cake
Crib Cake
This is a cake that I made for a surprise baby shower. I’ve decided to make a crib this time but then I didn’t want to put all the railings on all sides of the cake since I think it will look too busy. This is a three layer chocolate cake with buttercream filling. I used gumpaste for all the cake decorations except for the trimmings you see on the backdrop. I used a pink ribbon on that. The headboard is tufted then hand painted with purple, the mother’s favorite color.
